Designed for Evinrude E-TEC G1 outboard engines.

Supplied with a CoastKey Plug & Play wiring harness with connectors that fit directly into the existing Evinrude wiring, facilitating the installation.

*A minor modification to the Evinrude ignition switch may be required for the CoastKey system to operate correctly. Please refer to the installation instructions for details.

COASTKEY BASIC is the basic version of CoastKey.

In addition to the Engine Control Box and Harness, it consists of a Start Panel which is mounted in clear view at the steering position. To “unlock” you simply enter a PIN code instead of using an ignition key. The obvious advantage of this solution is that you have keyless access to the boat, and if there are several people using the boat, everyone has the same access without having to have their own keys. It is easy to change the PIN code to restrict access, for example after loaning out the boat.
