We have never used the old type of kill cord, because we need to be able to move around.
The autopilot steers the boat while the fish are being reeled in, and if an accident should happen it is very reassuring to know that the boat stops.
You do not survive many minutes in the water when the temperature is 5–6 °C (41–43 °F). CoastKey’s wireless kill switch gives us that protection.
It always hangs around your neck and never gets in the way. Being able to start, stop and tilt the engine is brilliant as well. It is also very easy to fit. Tight lines!
