Designed for Suzuki single outboard engines with mechanical controls using the older-generation Suzuki wiring system (MCR 1).

Supplied with a CoastKey Plug & Play wiring harness with connectors that fit directly into the existing Suzuki wiring for easy installation. The harness also includes a dedicated adapter for remote trim/tilt control.

The Premium Kit includes one additional wireless function (AUX1). For this installation, we recommend using AUX1 for remote trim/tilt control.

If you plan to use AUX1 for another function instead of trim/tilt, please inform us when ordering so we can modify the kit accordingly.

*A minor modification to the Suzuki ignition switch is required for the CoastKey system to operate correctly. Please refer to the installation instructions for details.

Compatibility: Designed for older Suzuki mechanical installations, generally found on models up to approximately 2022. The Suzuki mechanical control wiring was changed around this time. Please make sure your installation uses the MCR 1 system before ordering.

Important – Suzuki Keyless Systems: If the boat is equipped with one of Suzuki’s keyless systems, it must be removed before installing CoastKey. This must be carried out by an authorized Suzuki dealer. For new installations, CoastKey should be installed instead of the Suzuki keyless system.

COASTKEY PREMIUM is a complete keyless system with remote START/STOP and remote TRIM/TILT in addition to a wireless kill switch (ECOS).

In addition to the Engine Control Box, Harness and Start Panel (which is mounted in clear view at the steering position), the system is equipped with a 5-button wireless remote control (FOB). Beyond the benefits of using the Start Panel (described below), the FOB can be used to turn on the ignition and start and stop the engine(s) wirelessly. When you have the FOB with you, it is not necessary to enter a PIN code to unlock the panel.

By wearing the FOB at all times, the captain is secured with one of the market’s best wireless man-overboard systems, which ensures that the boat stops if you fall overboard.

With PREMIUM you can remotely tilt the engine(s) up and down.

Handy when you arrive at the boat and can stand on the jetty to tilt the engine(s) down and then start them before getting on board and casting off. This is also useful when launching with a boat trailer.

Even without the FOB, you can always start the boat using the Start Panel, which is mounted in clear view at the steering position. To “unlock” you simply enter a PIN code instead of using an ignition key. It is easy to change the PIN code to restrict access, for example after loaning out the boat.
