The system is comprised of a Start Panel and a FOB. Start and stop from the Start Panel using a PIN code, no keys necessary. The FOB allows for remote start of the engines as well as additional wireless functionality such as tilt, windlass, etc.

ENGINE CUT-OFF SWITCH / DEVICE REQUIREMENT (ECOS)
On April 1, 2021, all boaters aboard vessels less than 26 feet will be federally mandated to use their engine cut off switch (ECOS). CoastKey complies with all federal and state boating laws and is ABYC Certified for the A-33 standard which was used to develop the law. CoastKey is an innovative keyless ignition system. A personalized PIN code gives you easy access to the start panel. From the panel, you can conveniently start and stop all the engines, no keys necessary! Since CoastKey is modular in design, a FOB can easily be added, which gives you remote start, as well as additional wireless functionality, including a wireless engine kill switch. This gives you, as the captain, freedom of movement and safety by automatically stopping the engines if you fall overboard.
SAVES LIVES
Safety is the most important aspect of boating. If the captain falls overboard, it is imperative that the boat stop immediately. Surveys show that, unfortunately, the traditional lanyard switch is rarely used. The main reason given is that it’s too inconvenient to be chained to the console, which limits movement onboard the boat. THIS IS COASTKEY
The basic version of CoastKey contains a start panel and an engine control unit. This system allows for a truly keyless ignition which can start up to 4 engines. The start panel replaces the traditional ignition keys and uses a customizable PIN code to start the engines. No keys necessary!
CoastKey can easily be expanded with the addition of a FOB and thus becomes a complete remote start/stop system with a wireless engine cut-off switch. CoastKey can be further expanded to wirelessly control additional functions, such as tilt, anchor windlass, bow thrusters, etc.
